But the point is we have young males ,in particular ,desensitised towards violent death .

We have mothers supported them ,intimidating anyone in the vicinity not to provide information that would see their killed lid see justice

Nothing whatsoever to do with " class" .its simply good or evil .you either know it or do not.

Vast majority of people from humble backgrounds do not see gangs or crime as a career.

Much more to come from this programme, trust me. It ll startle you

You saw all this unfold in close quarters and I do not doubt what you say.
I just think there are so many people that believe it something that is happening elsewhere, and need to realise it can just as easily be the streets and parks of Swansea, Neath and even Skewen, not just the inner cities of Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham or London for example.
I like many posters on here came from humble backgrounds.
As you quite rightly say, we did not choose the wrong path.
I feel worried for some who see it as the only way out.

There are no serious street gangs in Swansea, Neath etc, at least not to the extent they openly try to shoot each other in public.

Not to say there couldn't be a tragedy involving an innocent child and a scummy criminal, but he wouldn't get caught up in a street rat gang warfare.

Hopefully that culture never takes off down here the way it has in some of the bigger cities.

In total I would agree.
But they make up gangs from other areas, and one of these I knew well, is as heavy as they come.
Guns, ammunition, drugs and all.

What we don't see we don't know mate.

Without a doubt mate. I'm not trying to make out Swansea doesn't have its fair share of dangerous criminals.

What we luckily don't get, unlike Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, London etc. is feral gangs of teenagers terrorising neighbourhoods with guns on their BMXs.

Small towns do have problems though 247

IT comes with the territory

Larger population , increasing loss of jobs for the less able

Drugs is a way of earning big money quickly

On the other hand, those are cities to which people move to .

Personally, I hate small towns and what goes with it.

Swansea is in no way as all town

I wasn't derailing anything I was agreeing with 247 the big cities are far more dangerous than the little cities like Swansea. You've just mentioned London you thick prick and you can argue untill the cows come home but there's more crime in Liverpool than there is in Swansea.

I'm not doubting every town and city has problems with drugs and crime. Swansea absolutely included.

All I said was we don't have the kind of street gangs that Mercer belonged to. Lots of other cities do.

You misread me

I agree

Large towns by definition have more criminals

Some cities get a reputation which is perpetuated down the generations

Bristol has plenty of shyte but has a positive reputation

Same with Nottingham for example

Fook me, there s a huge problem in Torquay

True about gangs as far as i'm aware. Even smaller places than being talked about on here have a problem with drugs, but not the gang culture. Ruthin is one. I was in Cheltenham for a while and Tewksbury was the drug centre for that area - can't have been more than 8,000 people living there.

Per head of population ?
I'm not sure Darran, certain types of crime maybe, but inquisitive crime as an example and thefts will be much on par. Gun crime is far less with those local in to that teaming up with other cities.

I thought I made a decent point.

Used to travel now and again with the MAGS when I was younger, all Swansea fans from Gloucester and Cheltenham. I would say the gun crime there is far worse than Swansea for sure. Only because that's what I heard. You hit places like Tredworth, Barton etc and it's seriously dangerous at times.

Better in the Swansea area for sure all round, I don't disagree.

Most of the drug gangs/importers into Swansea are from Liverpool.

And it's been that way for 20 years, you can trust me on that one.

What the f*ck is my agenda now? I've got nothing to do with yours and Darran's falling out ffs. I've got nothing against Liverpool either.
