If you vote Labour on 10:40 - Apr 30 by Private_Partz | Ah the past. Doesn't the media just love raking up old comments and views? I prefer to live in the here and now. I will be interested to see how this fully costed manifesto Labour will turn out. It was interesting that the Tories have blocked other Parties from accessing finacial information to fully cost their plans. Labour will allow acces to all if in government. I must say I am surprised how well the Labour campaign is going so far.... |
May, Boris, Cairns etc are useless, Cons v Labour in this election is like two poor boxers, you can get a good fight between two poor boxers by the way, Lib-Dems are also very poor at the moment, in general you have to look away from the big 3 Westminster parties to the SNP and Plaid to find any decent politicians .

If you vote Labour on 10:48 - Apr 30 with 1009 views | perchrockjack | Yeah, brilliant. Eloquence itself Now then, MCDonnell often speaks well.. So did my nan s budgie ,Peter. Good posts are ones not filled with personal invective The brilliant brynmill ignores the topic, blithely missing the nebulous note of the Title . Jesus H. Seems Labour voters in Swansea are really loyal to the cause of the "working man" , "ordinary family" and worse of all, " the working classes" . Brilliant but trite shite from all political parties reinforcing stereotypes for their own political ends Now...that s brilliant

It's unusual these days to restrict access to the civil service to only the main opposition party in the run up to a general election. For the past two both Labour and the LibDems were granted access. I assume the LibDems would have been excluded this time because the parliamentary numbers mean that if they had been given access the SNP would have had to have been as well.

If you vote Labour on 08:21 - Apr 30 by Brynmill_Jack | I read what you wrote and you pigeonholed all labour voters as Jew hating council house dwellers. Of which I am neither! Why do you love the Tories so much? When the treat the worst off in our society like animals, including the disabled? One of my brothers faces threat of eviction this week. He worked hard as a printer for 20 years, rarely ever was off sick and lost his job when the directors of his last firm pulled the plug. He signed up to work on a zero hour contract with a company that after a month left him without work for three weeks and so apart from having difficulty in eating couldn't pay his rent. So a man who has worked hard all of his life and lost his job though no fault of his own could be on the streets next Tuesday. And it's all down to people like yourself who have had a good career and now a good pension but have the "f*ck the rest, I'm alright now" attitude with no social conscience whatsoever who will vote Tory because you believe people like him are feckless lazy scroungers. You are disgusted by Corbyn because he doesn't wear sharp suits, lives in London , once supported the idea of a united Ireland (which ironically may happen under brexit) but wants to help the struggling people of this country , especially the young with no hope of getting on the housing ladder because of the pitiful living standards the Tory government has allowed to build because of their hatred for the poor and love of their big money non tax paying corporate donors. If you are disgusted by Labour and not the Tories you should really examine your moral compass. No, don't bother examining it. Get a new one . Yours is f*cked [Post edited 30 Apr 2017 8:23]

If you vote Labour on 16:17 - May 6 with 771 views | rock1n | I don't want to keep going on about it but the Government isn't there to provide jobs, it is there to provide the conditions for job creation. It is up to individuals to upskill, look for different avenues to go down. If you ban zero hr contracts you ban an 'opportunity' for someone, they are very popular with some people who are on them. Labour is talking about banning them, this is ridiculous. Everyone can highlight anecdotal examples of problems. But the reality is overall employment is the highest it has ever been, unemployment is close to full employment levels that is why we need immigrants in many areas there are gaps because we don't have the skills to fill these jobs. If you want to blame anyone, blame technology and automation. Progress means we're all becoming more affluent as a society but within that we have challenges. If labour want to become a pressure group for around 1/2 a million people then carry on but we'll soon be a one party state in that case.

Agree, but we're not going to encourage kids to learn by having a two tier system where the posh boys can get coddled in grammar schools, comps get run into the ground and then at 18 we can charge them £9k+ per year for the privilege of going to uni in a herd of 200 other classmates. Make Britain great again (for those who have).

If you vote Labour on 21:57 - May 6 with 717 views | felixstowe_jack | When I went to Grammar School in 1965 over half my classmates came from the Council estates of Portmead, Bleanymaes, Townhill, Mayhill, Clase, Penlan, Bonymaen, West Cross and Sketty Park. In those days we did not feel deprived because we came from Council Estates. Our parents were all working not living on benefits. Mind you there were no benefits back then.

If you vote Labour on 22:03 - May 6 with 714 views | westwalesed | In my experience Labour voters are lower-middle class idealists who did the majority of their campaigning in the 1970s, the exact same ones who have propelled Corbyn to power seem to be collectively performing Seppuku.

Excellent post, I must be the same age as you, and how I remember life back then, the problem with benefits is that they have nurtured an army of feckless work shy individuals. Paid to the right people no problem, but by God we have created a monster

If you vote Labour on 10:00 - May 7 with 649 views | perchrockjack | So it seems Grammar schools not the domain of the rich then Any retraction ? Nah More bitterness spread by Labour using our young people this time Grammar schools gave kids from humble backgrounds the chance to better themselves ,which is why Labour hate them. Labour, it could be argued, want all of us to be the same. Those with more have it taken away ,those with less given more (arguably) . Meanwhile ,businesses close and jobs are list making the poor power again Yet ,people swallow this shyte Things were pretty level in the eastern bloc ...state ensured that as it controlled all . People really did have the same, shyte flat ,school where they were brainwashed and athletes "encouraged " Jez loved the eastern bloc

If you vote Labour on 23:23 - Apr 28 by marulia | Labour stands for taking money from the wealthy, the people that have got off their ass to do something with their life, tax the shit out of them only to give that money to the local bike down the road with 10 kids by 10 fathers who's still knocking them out and all on benefits.... this is the ideals of the Labour Party. |
That is equally as deluded as the OP.
