I can confirm that this is true, and it is loud as holy ffukk.
Most of these old rock stars can barely hear anymore, and the young ones aren't faring too much better. At least some of the old guys have their fortunes to comfort them.
Daltrey is a great interview though like you said, and usually has some pretty honest and remarkable anecdotes about Moon and Townshend. Always well worth a watch. |  | | |
