I have been there and found it a very moving experience. It's the ages of the boys on these gravestones that hits you. And on this occasion, the way that the local people keep the site so immaculate is really moving as well. The museum there is also worth a visit, and taking a trip on the railway itself as well. Wholeheartedly agree with your recommendation. They pick you up from your hotel in Bangkok as well and take you back afterwards (with the usual stop at the jewellery place that everyone gets so familiar with doing trips in Bangkok) so it's easy to get there from your holiday. | | | |
