Anyway remember the simpler times when you had records, tapes and videos?

Here goes.

My first record was "Pipes of Peace" by Paul McCartney

Firrst tape was "Kick" by INXS

Video tape "Queen Live - We will rock you"

And for you modern types , first CD was "War" by U2

Here we go, and looking at the list, looks a bit sad now, but happy days
First single bought- Depeche mode - Meaning of love
First album bought- Human League - League unlimited all 12 inch mixes?, bloody brilliant
First tape bought- Thompson Twins - into the Gap
First Film - Diamond are forever- Swansea Odeon 1971
Don't remember my first CD or VHS tape
My Dad had an 8 track stereo system, don't know if anyone remembers them, like giant tapes, good though for the time.

Straight Outta Compton is my favourite album of all time i think. Blasting that out in the local youth club as a spotty 14 year old, and a VW badge swinging around my neck

Just checked, that album is 29 years old

Nothing further to add to this thread, due to me not being able to remember what i bought last week, let alone 30 years ago.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

First record was Little Children by Billie J Kramer and the Dakotas.

First albums ( bought together ) Let it Bleed by the Rolling Stones and For Our Children's Children's Children by the Moody Blues.

First tape probably Genesis.

First cd probably Yes, replacing worn out album!

First "grown up " film Zulu

Not absolutely sure on tape and cd but single and album definitely. Still got them too.

Still one of the best intros to a song Gimme Shelter. Found this recently, brings back memories.
