Nigel Gibbs deserves credit as well to be fair.
Clement mentioned he's the one that works on defensive shape and it's not easy defending well as a unit in that diamond.
Another thing I find amazing, it must be 15/16 odd games since we conceded from a corner! An achievement when you consider how many we were shipping at one point. [Post edited 7 May 2017 12:37]

Up until the West Brom game we hadn't conceded from a set piece since Clement joined. That's incredible.
I then found out that Clement hadn't conceded from a set piece in his final 19 games at Bayern too. I know he wasn't no.1 there but he was the one taking the training.

Apparently Claude likes to join in as he feels thats the best way to figure out what the players are thinking and how they cope in certain situations, strange how the narrative changes, when Laudrup did it he got pelters on here.
Clement and his team have done an amazing job, i get the feeling that every component plays it's part and we must not forget his coaching team he took from Spurs, all of them have done a remarkable job,
It's therefore surely a sacking offence for somebody who allowed the likes of Oleary,Monk,Beatie,Bradley,Paul williams and clotet anywhere near top level international players at the swans .
The biggest lucky escape in the last 12 yrs without doubt, thanks to clement and his team of support staff. |  | | |
