If not for Swarbrick's penalty given at Old Trafford, our clean sheet streak 18:17 - May 13 with 921 views | Tummer_from_Texas | Would stand at 4 1/2 fixtures, or 405 minutes of football, not including stoppage time.(edited - thanks Uxbridge) As much as we owe to Siggy and Llorente, this has been what saved us. Not bad for what was easily the worst defending side in the league, at the start of this streak. [Post edited 13 May 2017 19:56]

Frankie and Clem could see that. Unfortunately it was a concept completely beyond Blobby. If we survive there is no doubt we still have masses of work to do next season.

Clement said precisely that in several of his early interviews. The concentration was on the very basics of positioning and communication. Our squad may not be the best in the prem but some decent coaching has worked wonders on them (not sure what happened in March though).

He did, but then didn't always deliver it.

We'd be 2 points ahead of Palace and chasing down leicester and Stoke. The name Manchester United is a polite way of saying dirty, cheating b'stards. The football team equivalent of Dimwit, Jenkins and all the other sellout b'stards How any one who calls themselves a Swans fan can support that shower of sh1te (our ex board or Utd) is beyond me.

I think Bobley saw it, just didn't have a clue how to fix it. First sign I got that PC would get defending sorted was the win at Liverpool. Even though we conceded two goals to that dangerous attack, the defensive shape and organization seemed like a night and day difference from anything I'd seen all season.
