Paul Weller:- Respect is due but his opening song was completely forgettable shite. Alt J:- Garbage Dave:- Crap Rap with loads of accompaniment. No decent rhythm. nothing of merit Maggie Rogers. Alaska is a great tune but really downbeat performance with her wearing some weird 'clown' costume.Also Alaska is like 3 years old now. Naturally 7- OK black dude acapella but grew awfully wearisome very quickly Little Dragon- Thought they were quite dull to start off with, but then with gradual introduction of 'Clangers' backbeat went mentally good. Loved it. Shitty, boring, generic ending by Paul Weller
Haven't seen a decent Jools Holland Live in a long time. Maybe I'm being a bit nostalgic, but I used to love The Old Grey Whistle Test. JHL doesn't come close.
