Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Read the article. 2013 as explained. The bonus payments have since increased as the TV money has increased, thats why we have managed to attract the likes of Llorente and still remain within our wage structure. Not sure what you are arguing about, this is well known and talked about at length by our chairman at the Trust evenings. Have you been?

Uhhh. Ifs, buts and maybes. But we look a decent side with these players and management.

15th place finish too, whod have thunked it? Time for the beach and to laugh at Glammy instead.

Did you even read the article you linked? They do not receive the entire pot of prize money. It is £2,500,000 for finishing 17th, plus £250,000 per place above that. Considering the prize money for finishing 17th was over £3,000,000, you're already wrong. Then as each place increases, the money increases by far more than £250,000 per place. And of course in 2017 the figures are far higher and more lucrative.

Yep read it and understood it perfectly. I am not wrong in the slightest, I am repeating the chairman, maybe you can level the accusations at him? while you are at it you can lambast him fir the awful January signings you were moaning about, you know the "proven failure" Ayew, the bang average Olsson and the reject Carroll

Back onto the subject of the bonus. The manager/chairman/staff also receive bonuses. This is why the figure is less than stated. The players get the vast majority of the final finishing prize money. But ALL of it is dedicated to bonuses. But again you would know if you came to the events.

Great result.

Nice to see them playing some decent football in that 2nd half.
15th place thanks to Andre Ayew scoring the winner for West Ham against Burnley, fitting.
Can't praise Paul Clement enough, he has put the spirit back into those boys and has got a phenomenal amount of points for us since he came in.
We need to back this bloke in the summer and allow him to bring in 4/5 players that he really wants...if we ship out 4/5 + of the fringe players he should be able to start next year with a much stronger squad for a relatively small outlay.
Don't f*ck this up Swansea City!

I saw a couple of weeks ago that we would be 7th, based on results since Clement took over. Does anyone know what that would be now?

Our 1st team squad is easily top half - as PC has demonstrated

The way we play is top quartile - far far superior to most in this league - esp with Leon orchestrating and leading

From Beeb. Swansea manager Paul Clement speaking to Match of the Day: "It’s very satisfying to break that 40 point barrier. 29 points for the second half of the season is very, very pleasing.
"I had belief in what I was doing. The players responded fantastically and it was a big team effort.
"Ultimately, the objective was to keep the team in the league. For me there were more wins than that. We created a great team spirit. I think the club is on its way back to getting its identity back.
"I don't think this squad needs a big overhaul. Given the points we put on at the end of the season, I don’t think we need major surgery."

“The stupidest thing she knew was for people to act like they knew all about the things they knew absolutely nothing about.”

We'd have 58 pts. So about 7th or 8th.
