I liked the poem for Manchester ('This is the place') until it got to the football bit. It is very hard to forget that a diving cheat tried to get us relegated by foul means. It's not jealousy of the club itself. It's resentment at the glory boys who choose to support United over their local team. I've nothing against Man United at all. The plastic Mancs who have never been to Old Trafford, who refer to them as 'us' and will never really get being a football fan are a different matter. Same goes for plastic Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea etc fans.
