To be honest, if he is kicking up a fuss about leaving I'd make him hand in a transfer request, especially after his comments about it being up to the club if they want to sell him this summer. Not just Everton. Lots of other clubs seem able to hold out for top dollar for their players whereas we crumble at the first offer. Southampton are masters at it.
Even last summer. We sold Ayew for £20m whilst relegated Newcastle got £10m more than that for Sissoko, who'd been shite for the previous season. | |

Kante was 29 million and had a release clause, Payet was causing disruption in the club, refusing to play in the middle of the season and had handed in a transfer request. Plus he's 30 years old. Completely different situation. Now, if he is kicking up a fuss, make him hand a transfer request in and get rid.
