Until teams refuse to pay those kind of wages then players are going to continue to ask for it. Blame the clubs as more than the player. We're certainly not a bastion of good wage structure ourselves, hence why we make huge losses, and a huge reason why we have the current board make up as it is. |  |

don't really care about the fees. doesn't have an impact on what goes on on the field.

Cheers and take your point but that would be his basic wage. if his signing on fee is paid in instalments with his wages - £2 million a year just under £40,000 a week would take it to around £100,000 a week.
