The only player from my time watching the club, on that list, i'd put him above is Freestone. And i'm not even sure about that, by the time i hit send, i'd probably put him bottom of that list.

Doubt it Dar check the stats his goals dried up as he climbed through the leagues also somethings not right as according to Wikedpeidia he didn't score 100 goals for us in his two spells. For me an overrated player and I know he is a hero due to his self promotion and showboating but to be compared to Curt,Ivor,Robbie or Gylfi who have proven themselves at the top level is not right. I will be shot down I know but if he really had it he wouldn't have gone to Bristol City but a PL club or a club in the championship competing for promotion...for £1M he would have have been worth a punt but the scouts obviously saw him for what he is a one footed showboater....lower league player but not good enough for the top flight...yes a Swans Legend and icon for some ...but then so is Whyndham Evans who actually played in the top flight ! Greatest ever player. on 21:42 - May 25 with 2409 views | Rancid | Michu was as good as any of them but just the 1 season takes him out of the equation Ferrie Bodde was great for us too and could have been a club great..
Greatest ever player. on 21:42 - May 25 with 2406 views | aberhugh | I've watched for over 50 years. Unfortunately, when I saw Allchurch I was very small and he was in his twilight years. In my time our two best eras were the late 70's early 80's and the years in the Premier League. Trunds was probably the player I was most entertained by but his lack of any pace would have made it difficult for him in those two time slots. For me the players I would choose are Leon, Robbie, Curt, Ash and Siggy, in that order but happy to swap around the first three. Probably better to ask for your all time best team, but I would still leave out players before my time as I did not see them and the available footage is poor quality. I have an elderly relative who loves Allchurch and waxes lyrical about him. He is annoyed at the voting. He describes his silky skills and says his only weakness was in the air. I wouldn't have rushed to head the balls they used then!!

Maybe they're friends but he's never been one of our best players by a long way. He's never had a mention of an Engand cap, ever. And he's only ever been a real regular in the side when we were lower leagues or in the shit now.Hes a tremendous Swansea City man but never one of our best players.Sentiment would have ruled Curts heart including Leon.
