So if I understand this, we sell a player as quickly as possible who has 1.5 times the assists and over 3 times the goals to a team selling a similar type of player not called Siggy for around £20 million less. Someone's been to the Jenkins school of roofing business

I hope he stays. However if he goes I hope we get a decent amount for him (at least £30 million or more) plus I hope he goes to a team that has a decent chance of competing for honours and that he will get game time at (in spite of their achievements in 2015 / 16, I do not include Leicester as such a team or certainly West Ham) Everton have a chance to build on what they have, so they could be a good fit. Maybe if Gylfi does go The Res will go with him as part of the deal - please ?

This thread highlights my thoughts that some fans believe we are a small club who the likes of West Ham / Leicester can offer lower prices than our players are really worth.
