Those in Flight Ding Sounds on 12:32 - Jun 10 by barry_island | Two hours sounds enough time for a sesh to me. Sadly I'm hiring a car from the airport the other end this year so I can't be on holidays from the time I reach our airport. I think deep down I'm nor too keen on flying either, hence why I don't mind having a sup on the flight. [Post edited 10 Jun 2017 12:36]

Wasn't gonna go abroad this yr with the way things are at the moment, plus my dislike for flying, but its probably the best chance of getting some sun on our backs and a decent swim in warm , clear sea water. [Post edited 10 Jun 2017 12:48]

Next time you fly ask the staff why the window blinds have to be up during take off, you'll be curled up in a ball in no time

And as the saying goes just get back up there and don't let it put you off, like the saying if you fall off a bike get back on it

Those in Flight Ding Sounds on 17:52 - Jun 10 with 975 views | Birchgrovejack | The odds of surviving a plane crash is very high. In fact I googled it. "the odds of a plane crash are one for every 1.2 million flights, with odds of dying one in 11 million. Your chances of dying in a car or traffic accident are one in 5,000. Astoundingly, even if you are aboard one of the one in 1.2 million flights that crash, 95.7 percent of passengers survive"

One in 5,000 can't be right. Not if you are comparing it to a crash in every 1.2 million flights. That would mean, if you rode in a car twice per day every day, there's a greater than 50% chance you would die in a car crash in less than 7 years.

It comes down to the definition of a crash. Fall out 9f the sky at 60000 feet and you don't survive. There again those accudents are extremely rare. Love flying myself, especially the take off and landing where I can be seen in my seat operating the air controls!

I think it means out of every 5,000 car crashes one person dies. When compared to the previous statement it does confuse matters though. Like someone else has said its the definition of a crash as well. It could be a 5mph bump
