Jeez OP , don't you think that playing the best ever football of any a Swansea side, winning our first major trophy in a hundred years of existence and a very creditable European adventure was worth a couple of sh*t performances?
You're not so much a glass half empty guy as a glass smashed against the wall type eh?? I wish he was still here now!

Agree with all of that except the last sentence.
Some really good home and away memories from his tenure Some cracking players here and some of the most sublime football seen anywhere
He had to go as he'd lost interest/him and BalletTutu had been properly fugged over and we were going only one way. If Capt Beaky had let him have some of the players he wanted, not had a major falling out with his agent would he have lost interest? Never going to know that.
What we do know is that Capt Beaky allowed an ex player/ trainee manager to totally strip our playing style and ethos, even if we did finish in our second highest position in the top flight under GM. Allowed him to bin good, skillful exciting players I still don't get how Fernandez is worth £6 million more than a Chico either Or Baston was thought to be worth more than we paid for Will.
I for one think that PC is the person we should trust to rebuild both the team and team ethic. Capt Beaky must be kept away from choosing the players PC wants. He's proved how sh1te he is at picking players from when Loudstrop left
In fact the sneaky, underhand, snide b'stard should be kept away from the club FULL STOP
If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

No he lost interest when he gave his list of player choices to HJ and he failed to deliver. Jenkins wanted rid of Laudrup at the end of the first season, as he fearfull of losing his strangle hold/own position/standing call it what you like within the club. Believe me or not, but it's true....
It is true and Laudrup said so. However there is a commercial angle to the boards decision to sack him. Huw wanted to keep him on for longer than others. But there are strong commercial reasons and banking morality decisions to get ride of the Laudrup circus. I am all for players getting a good wedge but all associates should pay their tax dues to her majestys inspector for taxes. Laudrup could have made us the next Portsmouth but he could also have made us a better team than we became. One od the biggest issues is obviously that you cannot let a manager on a 2 year contract get playes and huge kick backs from his agents company. Even putting the kickbacks aside we could been left with stars who would unsettle the potential sale value to the directors of the club. Best manager we have had yes but it was a circus.
