Discussion I was having tonight about Gomis, is he a poor player, or do we not just suit him?
My opinion was that he is a poor player, but then I was asked how many sitters/easy chances has he missed? And I was struggling to think, maybe the 1-1 vs Arsenal earlier in the season? Does he need a better support player to get the best out of him? no suprise when he was scoring was when Montero and Shelvey were flying!
I personally think the whole club has listened to much to the praise we were getting from the media, and have taken there foot off the pedal in pushing this club forward.
I hope we stay up and we see this as a massive kick up the backside.
Not backing the referee or anything, but how on earth did the linesman who was looking straight at it, fail to tell the referee Naughton had won the ball, and there wasn't much contact with the player at all?

My bet is Rodgers, Heard he wanted a break untll the summer, (maybe to do with Liverpool contract) and wanting a longer break, at this period id welcome him back with open arms.
