Thread | Pillaging the Relegated Teams

Was doing a bit of thought after the match and was really impressed with Trippier's performance, personally think that if Burnley goes down it would be worth our while to send a cheeky offer their way. (Realize we just bought Naughton, but this is more for discussions sake)
Anyways, curious if you guys can think up anyone else that might be worth a punt if their team goes down? |

I'm understandably disappointed by the result but I think that our defense was incredibly suspect today. Jeff was caught sleeping far too much, Taylor was abused by Navas, and I'm beginning to think we really need to find Rangel an understudy/replacement because he just isn't quite cutting it for me. Not to mention Bartley looked like a fish out of water and I can't wait until we've got Amat/Fernandez back in the side. Your personal thoughts? |

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself as a new member/say a bit about myself and then get a few opinions on something that I've been thinking about lately. I'm from the US and so far I've been very impressed and happy with the season thus far (albeit disappointed about our results against Stoke and Newcastle). And while I can't say I was supporting the Swans (or following football) back in the lower league days I can say I love this club.
Now to the second part, I've been fairly impressed with Carroll and what he's brought to the side and I was wondering if any of you know anything about any clauses allowing us to purchase him or think we should try to make him a permanent member after this season? |
