OK Gene Pitney wasnt thinking of the Seven Sisters Road when he released his trademark hit 24 Hours From Tulsa, but Saints fans are and the tension is mounting.

In 24 hours time Saints will be only a short time away from a return to the Premereship and visiting grounds like White Hart Lane to play Tottenham instead of to Prenton Park and Tranmere or even going through Tulse Hill to visit Crystal Palace, the stakes are massive and perhaps this tension can aid Saints cause instead of hindering it, hopefully it can focus everyone on the task ahead, this season has seen Saints look on the brink of collapse on many occasions, however they have always managed to come back stronger than ever having learned from their mistakes.

So hopefully this will be the case against Coventry City, there is no doubt, no room for excuse, its do or die and our players have to show that they have the bottle to do it, someone mentioned on the message board that its days like these that we as football fans live for, well the same should be true for the players, they should be relishing the chance to get on the pitch and give themselves a chance of playing in the Premiership, there is no room, nay no excuse for a poor game from our players, of course some will have off days, but having an off day and playing poorly are too different things.

A player having an off day can still turn that into a decent contribution through hard graft, a player playing poorly often isnt putting his shift in and thats the difference.

So no excuses its a must win game, and remember if we play to our potential then we will be literally 24 hours from Tottenham
