Trundle Player Of The Month

Lee Trundle has been named as Powerade player of the month for January after his goals helped move the Swans to the joint leadership of League Two during January.

Trundle netted five times during the month as Kenny Jackett's team picked up 10 of a possible 15 points. Trundle has also scored in four consecutive league games for the Swans.

Announcing the awards on Sky Sports this morning, Chris Kamara commented that Trundle has great quality whilsT Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock said that teams were reluctant to take a punt on Trundle as his work rate was less than other players.

Trundle though missed out to Oxford's Jamie Brookes in the PFA player of the month awards.
