Your Panoramic View Of The Vetch

Your Panoramic View Of The Vetch Field

Supporters will have noticed at recent games a man walking round the ground pre game and at half time with a very large camcorder on his shoulder. Don't worry he is not living in the dark ages and persisting with his very early video camera but you have probably guessed that he is filming as part of the Vetch 1912-2005 project.

The limited edition box sets are selling well with well over half the box sets already reserved despite the fact that their content is being added to all the time. Only recently they announced that the box sets would include part of the old double decker stand and there are also a number of special box sets which will include items from the likes of John Toshack and Alan Curtis.

As part of this celebration, we have been sent the file which you can download at this link. Once downloaded you can open the file and click on the picture you will see and as you move your mouse you will feel as if you are standing in the centre circle of the famous Vetch Field pitch. And the very file as well confirms what we all know that God is indeed a Swansea City fan!

Box sets can still be ordered from The Vetch 1912-2005, 29 St Helens Road, Swansea, SA1 4AP and can be reserved for just a £50 deposit.

There are up to 40 unique box sets being produced as well which are being auctioned and include the following: -

  • Final Day Shirt Boxes - containing the shirts worn by the Swans players on that magical last day

  • Alan Curtis Box - containing one of Curt's playing shirts from his playing days

  • Ivor Allchurch Box

  • John Charles Box - containing signed Swans shirt and signed book

  • John Tosack Box

  • Lee Trundle and Roberto Martinez Unique Boxes

  • Two boxes - one each containing Kenny Jackett and Kevin Nugent's last day training tops

  • Other boxes will include BBC Box Specials, HTV Box Specials, more ex-players and a couple of special club boxes.

Bid's for these boxes are invited either by telephone on 07910 358539, by e-mail here or by writing to the address above

Once the 1000 boxes are sold then there is no more.
