Nigel is a jack through and through. Born and bred in Port Tennant, he made his way through the youth ranks at the Vetch and by the late 70's had firmly established himself in the team that went all the way to the very top! Along with his exploits for the Swans, he also became an established Welsh international, winning many caps for his country. However, the demise of the Swans during that time also coincided with Nigel falling out of favour with the new management set up and reluctantly, He moved to our rivals down the road. Nigel now works as a physiotherapist at Swanseas Cefn Coed hospital and I am lucky enough to speak with him on a regular basis. He really is a True Gentleman and his passion for his home town football club is as strong as it ever was. Submitted By Frank Williams
