Soca Warrior Action Gives Duo Longer Break Wednesday, 25th Jun 2008 11:27 Jason Scotland and Dennis Lawrence have both been given an extended summer break Both have been involved in the Soca Warriors squad this summer that have kept alive their hopes of being in South Africa in 2010 by progressing to the group stages of World Cup qualifying. And with the Swans returning tomorrow it looked as if the two would have pretty much a zero summer break which - certainly in the case of Scotland - is much needed after it was revealed he had been carrying a knock since Christmas time whilst Lawrence has only had a week's break since the season ended back in May. But that is now not the case as Roberto gives both a couple of weeks off although both could return to join the fit camp in Sweden that starts in two weeks "They are going to have an extra period of rest," Roberto told the Evening Post. "Dennis, in particular, needs a chance to switch off because he's only really had a break of one week. "Depending on how fresh they both are, they will join the group at some stage before we go to Sweden on July 6."
