Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws says his side is coming to South Wales with no fear of the Swans

Wednesday lock horns with the Swans at the Liberty Stadium today with both sides having made a promising start to the season.

The Swans sit in 7th place having won two of their opening three games whilst Wednesday's start has seen them sit four places behind us with four points from their opening three fixtures.

And that makes for an interesting recipe for today's game - the Swans said back in the summer that they wanted to turn the Liberty into a fortress - something that certainly seemed to ring true two weeks back against Nottingham Forest.

With 17,000 expected there today again, it could be a great atmosphere as the first international break of the summer looms large on the horizon.  And a victory for either side could see them heading into that break in the top 6 of the division.

Speaking on Wednesday's official site ahead of the game, the opposing manager said "When we get on top, it's important that we take our chances and that's the key - had we have taken our chances against Preston, we're talking a completely different game.

"We're playing at such a tempo that other teams can't live with us. It can be very cavalier but attractive on the eye and you can create a hell of a lot of problems. But we know if we can't get that goal in that period then it's about making sure we defend well.

"I'm certainly looking forward to playing against Swansea, they're a good footballing side and certainly on the up as far as football clubs go.

"I've seen them many times in League One and this season in the Championship. Roberto Martinez has got them playing in an attractive way, they move the ball well and are always looking for options.

"They have taken the Championship in their stride and I don't believe for one minute that they'll struggle.

"I think this game does suit us and we're certainly going into it with no fear, we're just going to be mindful that we don't switch off - they are the costly periods when the hard work and positives can be turned into a negative in no time."
