Cardiff City have sold their allocation of 1800 tickets for the derby clash at the Liberty on November 7

The two Welsh rivals go head to head in front of the Sky cameras on November 7 with the visiting side in receipt of 1800 tickets which sold out on the first day of sale.

There were reports that the Bluebirds may receive more tickets for the fixture but this has been denied by Cardiff who have stated that they will not receive any further tickets.

The statement on cardiffcity.co.uk read "Cardiff City's allocation of 1,800 tickets for the Championship match at Swansea City on November 7 has completely sold out.

"Tickets were sold to Ambassadors, season ticket holders and away travel members with photo membership cards on a first come, first served basis.

"This method of distribution was necessary because of the late release of tickets going on sale. Contrary to some reports, the club does no expect an extra allocation of away tickets."

Swans tickets for the fixture also went on sale yesterday with long queues reported at the ticket office as the first Welsh derby of the season heads for a total sell out.

The game kicks off at 12.45pm on November 7
