Watford have told the Swans that striker Danny Graham is not for sale

The Watford observer has reported that Swansea City made an enquiry for the striker looking to add him to the evcer expanding ranks of strikers at the Liberty Stadium.

And whilst no official bid has been made, the Swans have been told that Graham is not for sale especially now he appears to be the only recognised striker at Vicarage Road.

Graham joined Watford from Carlisle last summer for an initial £200,000 with a further £30,000 due every 15 appearances made by the striker up to a maximum of 75 games.  Promotion in the next two seasons will also cost the Hornets a further £200,000.

It was believed the Swans thought they could persuade Watford to sell especially as top players have already left this summer because of the financial restrictions at the club.

The figure reported earlier in the week was £600,000.
