Harley Ready For Swans If Needed

Ryan Harley says he is ready for Swansea duty although he hopes he is not needed

Harley scored the only goal for Exeter City midweek - still playing for the club this season after his move to Swansea in January

And Harley says he is ready to return to the Liberty and help out if the Swans end up in the play offs come the end of the season but first he retains his focus on the Grecians "If we can end up finishing in mid-table, which looks like it might happen, that's a big achievement.

"It was always going to be hard (challenging for the play-offs), with the size of club and the budget. The manager does well with the budget here and if we had a top-six or eight budget we would definitely be in there with the way the manager does things, but if we finish mid-table or push on to the play-offs it's a big achievement either way." he told the Express & Echo

"It will be nice to end the season with two big games (against Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday), and if Swansea end up in the play-offs I could be going back there with a view to playing in that, so I could still play for them this season.

"Hopefully they will go up (automatically) in second place, that's anyone's in that league, but if they do finish in the play-offs and there are some injuries or suspensions then I might have a chance of getting my name in there.

"Tuesday was a big win for us. Generally we have had a good home record, but in the last month or so we haven't been too good against the Tranmeres, Hartlepools and Yeovils, so we needed that win.

"We didn't play fantastic but we did enough to get the victory and Dagenham is another of those teams that are down there so we need to do the same as we did on Tuesday.

"They are quite direct, physical and they have always been the same from the Conference to League One.

"We know what to expect as we have played them a lot. We have to try and win every game until the end of the season and see where we end up."
