Swansea City are having a good close season it has to be said. Four quality signings and a fully fit squad means we are in a brilliant position as we continue to prepare for the season opener at Chelsea that is just five weeks away.

They have just about completed their first week of pre-season training and the squad have been put through their paces as we look to build on what was a record breaking term last time around.

Few would argue that there aren't many tougher ways to start the season than playing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but then again we have to remember that we were one of only two sides to lead there in the league last season and of course we had the perfect start last season with a win at Old Trafford.
