We look back on the Sunday action as their is a trophy winning day for Arsenal at the Emirates and it's a Lukaku treble for Everton as they win in Scotland

Arsenal 1 Wolfsburg 0

Arsenal followed up their 6-0 win over Lyon with a 1-0 win over Wolfsburg as they lifted the Emirates Cup.

Theo Walcott scored the only goal of the game to give the Gunners victory on their own soil in preparation for next weekend's Community Shield game against Chelsea at Wembley.

Arsene Wenger: "Physically we are already not far from a very good level and some young players have done extremely well. We could give them a chance and that’s very pleasing for our fans to see that as well.

“We had two different teams, two good games, everybody played well, we have no injuries and we had clean sheets. The young players who played were convincing as well so you could see that it’s a photo of the present and of the future as well. The team spirit is very good as well so everything is positive."

Hearts 1 Everton 3

A hat-trick from Romelu Lukaku helped Everton begin their short stay in Scotland with a win over Hearts.

The Blues striker tucked home two penalties either side of converting a Seamus Coleman cross to help Roberto Martinez’s men come from behind at Tynecastle.

Calum Paterson had put the Jambos ahead inside nine minutes after heading home a corner but Lukuku then took over.

Roberto Martinez: “I thought we looked really threatening, very sharp and the link-up play was very good

“All over the pitch we had a lot of concentration and showed very good standards.

“It was important to know how to manage a game when you face a team with the energy that Hearts had. I thought we did that very well.

“Going forward we looked a threat, but then we always kept a good balance and only a lapse in concentration early saw us concede from a dead ball situation. “Apart from that I thought we kept our defensive duties to a good level.”
