Jazz Richards Compares Fulham To Swansea

Jazz Richards is confident that he made the right decision in joining Fulham after he left the Swans in the summer for the Championship squad.

Richards was the subject of much transfer interest back in the summer but it was Fulham that secured his signature as he returned to the club where he spent time on loan last season.

It was a move away from the club that Richards felt he needed to make especially as he will see himself as part of the Welsh setup next summer if they qualify for the European Championships next summer. First team opportunities were likely to be limited at the Liberty and he felt that it was time to move on after so long at the Swans.

And he believes that there are similarities between Fulham and the Swans after he made his permanent debut last weekend at the Cardiff City Stadium.

"Definitely I’ve made the right choice leaving Swansea and coming to Fulham,” said the 24-year-old defender.

“I’ve been on loan to a few different clubs and Fulham was definitely one of the better ones, and I think it was an easy choice for me.

“Kit Symons is a great manager and coach and what he’s trying to put forward as a team is similar to the way Swansea do it, and I think that helped me make up my mind as well.”
