Leon Takes Your York Man Of The Match
Thursday, 27th Aug 2015 07:00 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

Leon Britton is your choice as the Swans man of the match from the 3-0 win over York City winning a close vote just ahead of Franck Tabanou, making his Swans debut and Nathan Dyer, who scored the first of the goals.

Leon was back in the side on Tuesday night as the Swans made eleven changes from the side that started at Sunderland last weekend and Britton was back for a first start of the season wearing the captain's armband.

It was just last week that he confirmed that he was staying at Swansea after speculation this summer linking him away and he proved clearly in the eyes of the fans that he very much has a part to play at the club going forward.

Leon is our fourth man of the match winner following two awards for Jefferson Montero and one for Bafetimbi Gomis. Montero is still the leader in the player of the season poll that gives an average of all ratings cast over the course of the season.
