Manchester United - Did We Beat The Odds?
Monday, 31st Aug 2015 15:18 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

So then the Swans beat Manchester United (again) at the Liberty this weekend but what effect did that have on our beat the odds feature that we have been running this season?

It has often been said during our time in the Premier League that we upset the odds on a regular basis so we thought that this season we would test the theory to see whether we do actually achieve that.

We are not planning on making huge stakes, just a simple £1 on each of three separate bets for each Premier League game that we play during the course of the season.

The three bets per game will be

* £1 on the Swans to win
* £1 on first goalscorer (determined by entries into our prediction league)
* £1 on the correct score (again taken by entries into our prediction league)

The good news of course is the Swans won and this weekend that was at odds of 12/5 and the Prediction League also told us that the Swans would win 2-1 and that was at odds of 11/1 so we have two wins to report on this weekend which leaves the results looking like this

Beat the odds will now take a break but we will be back for the Watford game
