QPR's Hoilett Offered To Swansea?

The Daily Mirror are reporting that Junior Hoilett is being offered around several clubs with the Swans being the latest as they look to reduce their wage bill with several departures expected tomorrow.

QPR's relegation from the Premier League last season was always expected to see a lot of departures with the financial pressure meaning they were going to have to cut costs and that could see Matt Phillips and Charlie Austin both leaving tomorrow amongst others.

But not only content with waiting around for players to attract interest the Mirror reports that they are looking to generate interest in other "Hoilett is another one being offered around with Swansea the latest club to be sounded out" reported the paper.

Mirror Sport also revealed QPR tried to cut costs by taking a week’s pay out of this month’s pay packet for several players including Phillips, Charlie Austin, Sandro, Junior Hoilett and Rob Green.

Hoilett has never really reproduced the form of his early career and the Swans do have a habit of taking players who fit that mould and getting the best out of them but I am not sure that we would want to sign this particular player.

Garry Monk said at the weekend that he would keep an eye on the transfer window but I don't see any mileage at all in this story or certainly not the link to us
