Andre Ayew has taken the Manchester United man of the match award after scoring one and setting up the other to ensure that the Swans got themselves a third successive win over their visitors.

Ayew polled an average score of 8.7 to just hold off Ashley Williams (8.5) and Bafetimbi Gomis (8.4) as the three clear leaders in the fans voting for this match.

Speaking after the game Ayew said “It was a perfect team performance on a difficult day for the team

“We managed to be strong mentally to come back from a goal behind to win the game.

“It was not easy at all and it shows we have a very good team and a great mentality in the squad.

“It was a real team effort. It shows as a whole squad we have great players and in time people are going to realise what great players they are. "
