Koeman Not Expecting Goal Feast

As the Swans head to Southampton today, visiting fans are being told that they should not expect a goal feast in the game and that is according to one of the managers involved, Dutch legend Ronald Koeman.

It has been a tougher second season for Koeman than he would have anticipated. Last season he seemingly could do no wrong as the Saints exceeded all expectations to finish 7th in the league and earn themselves a place in the Europa League.

Less than two months into the new season though and they have already seen their Europa League hopes ended before the group stages and they go into today's game with the relegation places just behind them as they lie in 16th place.

However, a two goal win today and they will rise above the Swans who sit in 7th which tells you just how much the Premier League is bunching up at the moment and why it is vital that we continue to produce the results that we have done so far.

It leads the Saints manager to believe that there will not be very many goals today with a tactical battle being his plan.

"I don`t think there will be a lot of goals. Both teams are playing good football, both teams like to play attractive football out of a 4-3-3 system. I look forward to it" said Koeman

"Especially as we go into it with a six nil victory under our belts.

"It`s always depending on winning or not winning games. The performance what we did on Wednesday gives the team a good spirit and a good belief. That`s important for the Saturday game."
