Taylor - Let's Fight Back Against Spurs
Wednesday, 30th Sep 2015 08:01 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

Neil Taylor is singing the same tune as other Swans players and management after a disappointing run of form that has seen the team beaten three times in the last four games.

It has been a particularly depressing period for the team since they returned from the last international break and they will head into the next one after the game against Spurs on Sunday.

And I guess one of the last things that you want at that point in time is to come up against one of the sides who you are yet to beat in the Premier League and who have recorded seven straight wins against you.

But that is what the fixture list and circumstance has thrown at us so we will need to put our unbeaten home record on the line and get a performance and a result on Sunday to go into the break on the same high that we had after beating Manchester United ahead of the last game.

It will ne nice to be back at the Liberty after the three away defeats with three of our four league games in October at home we have a great chance to pick up some points even if on paper the fixtures do not look easy.

“We always normally do well at home and perform to a certain standard, but away from home it’s not been the same" said left back Neil Taylor reflecting on the poor run of form

“At Hull I think it was different – the boys just didn’t get the goals.

“But on Saturday we looked all over the place.

“I think there were mistakes all over the park all day.

“Obviously, when players in certain positions make mistakes, it’s going to be a goal.

“A lot of people need to take a look at themselves after the Southampton game and think about how they’re going to perform away from home. That’s what we’ve got to do.

“We’re still in a healthy position in the league and we’ve got a big game at home on Sunday. We normally come back fighting.

“As far as Southampton is concerned, we have to reflect for a couple of days on a poor performance.”
