Wolves Linked With Eder Purchase

Local reports in the West Midlands are suggesting that Eder could be on his way to the Championship in this transfer window as Wolves are linked with a move for the striker as a replacement for Benik Afobe who joined Bournemouth earlier this month.

Eder, it is fair to say, has been a Liberty Stadium flop following his £5m move to the club last summer where he was expected to be a backup for Bafetimbi Gomis with the two men supposedly ready to lead the line for the Swans this season.

Neither has set the world alight and in the case of Eder he is yet to find the net for the Swans this season and that has increased speculation that his time in South Wales will be a short one.

Wolves, managed by former Swans boss Kenny Jackett, are keen to strengthen to ensure they can maintain a play off push but whether Eder will give them the goals they need remains to be seen.

There is little doubt that the Swans would be prepared to listen to offers for the striker should they come in
