Guidolin Faces Some Hull Choices

The life of a football manager is never an easy one and Francesco Guidolin will find out just how hard it can be this weekend as he contemplates his line up for the first home game of the season tomorrow.

The Swans face newly promoted Hull City at the Liberty with the visitors arriving on the back of probably the worst pre-season they could have imagined but more importantly on the back of an opening day against the Champions Leicester City.

That will surely see them arrive in South Wales in positive mood and with both sides looking to continue their 100% record at the start of the season it makes for what should be an entertaining game at the Liberty.

And it is the team choices of Guidolin that make for interesting reading where he has some clear choices to make in his team selection.

One of those will be the choice between Neil Taylor and Stephen Kingsley at left back. Taylor is back in contention after his summer at the European Championships with Wales whilst Kingsley has impressed hugely in the handful of Premier League games he has now played. I do think we will see Kingsley get the nod tomorrow because of the comments of the boss who has hinted that Taylor may not be back fully until after the international break.

But if we take him at those words then that would mean the same for Gylfi Sigurdsson who, for me, should definitely come back in tomorrow for the game. We miss the presence of the Icelandic international and we know that he can make things happen but let's see what happens on that front.

And of course there is the choice that we talked about on here earlier in the week in our wide men. I genuinely would still love to see Montero and Barrow start in the same game but time will tell on that front.

There are plenty of tickets left for Swans fans for the game tomorrow so if you want the chance of watching Wales' Premier League club then get yourself down to the ticket office today and grab some of those remaining tickets.
