Bring On The Champions...

The Swans attention turns to Leicester City on Saturday with the current Premier League champions still looking for their first win of their title defence after defeat to Hull and a draw with Arsenal.

Leicester's well documented rise to glory last season has been well documented but this time around with the distraction of the Champions league and the fact that they have almost become a prized scalp will make it different for them this time around but that doesn't mean they are an easy touch - especially not at home.

the Swans capitulated twice last season against Leicester - the home game being the last in charge for Garry Monk and the away game pretty much sealing the fate of the Premier League title so we will be looking to do much better this time around

And for us to do so we will have to perform better than we managed last weekend against Hull were we slipped to a very disappointing defeat thanks to two late goals.

Borja Baston is likely to have to wait for his debut until after the international break which will mean that Fernando LLorente will lead the line for the Swans whilst Leon Britton is likely to return in the centre of midfield with possibly Leroy Fer set to drop to the bench despite being the scorer of the Swans only Premier League goal to date.

It is difficult to understand what we can expect from Leicester this season because of the previously mentioned commitments but what we do know is that Champions do not become a bad team overnight and this is one of the toughest tests that we will have this season.

Leicester are always interesting though to play because they do happily concede possession and look to hit teams on the break so an early Swans goal could make some difference to the outcome of the game - the question is are we capable of getting that early goal.?

Time will tell
