I guess it is no real surprise that we got this result but two out of every three Swans fans believe that we will be playing Championship football next season, well at least according to the results of the last site poll.

We asked the simple question of which division people through we would be playing in next season and with over 440 votes, 67% of you said it would be a return to the Championship after six years in the top flight.

With the Swans in the middle of a managerial appointment that seems to have ended with Paul Clement agreeing terms and set to be announced on Tuesday it will be a side bottom of the league that he takes over.

We currently sit four points away from safety but with tomorrow's clash being against Crystal Palace who occupy 17th place then it could be seven with the wrong result at Selhurst which will only serve to increase the belief that our time in the Premier League is over for now.

Of course the flip side to that is that a win tomorrow could see Clement take over a side just one point from the safety mark although his first two Premier League games of Arsenal and Liverpool could not come much harder for a side that is desperate for points.
