TEAM NEWS : Swansea City all fired up for the last game of the season : CEO ?
Monday, 8th May 2023 14:01 by Swansea Independent

New Swans Chairman, fresh from a long weekend in the bay takes his seat to watch his first game at the Swansea.Com stadium this afternoon. The investor who forms part of a consortium of sorts of Nigel Morris, Brett Cravatt and numerous anonymous others has been appointed to oversee matters due to his pending investment in the club.

Julian Winter, the clubs CEO is noticeable by his lack of programme notes, and indeed by his lack of comment on the new appointment. In fact he has made none whatsoever, odd as odd can be.

In other matters, and indeed less controversial Russell Martin has already stated he will go with the same squad he selected last weekend away at Hull City, however there could be one change. There have been calls for some of the under 21 side to play today. That isn’t possible due to the fact that West Bromwich Albion need to win to earn a chance of the play offs, so we expect the strongest side Russell Martin can muster. He has Joe Allen sitting out the last game of his suspension and Jay Fulton along with Liam Walsh are injured. All three will be at the game to thank the supporters for their incredible following this season.

The game is LIVE on Sky Sports Arena.
