Abu Kamara Swansea link not true, plus where are all these players the Swans were going to sign ? Wednesday, 10th Sep 2025 15:54 by Keith Haynes Abu Kamara who signed for Getafe on deadline day on loan from Saturdays opponents Hull City has been reported by several outlets as of interest to Swansea City during this summer. As our regular readers know we exclusively discounted nineteen players rumoured as coming to the Swans this summer. And here’s another one. This is another example of the news drying up and outlets looking for some glamour before the season restarts. Speaking to a supporter of this website yesterday we have been told that Kamara was never a thought in the minds of Swansea City, and it was more hope on the players side than the Swans. A point in case being Kamara holding out for the whole summer until the very last day before jumping into a contract with Getafe in Spain. Currently at Hull City the players agent got him a last minute loan move to Madrid (Getafe) for a season. Mentions of Swansea City couldn’t have been further from the truth. But then if we examine a small percentage of players we have discounted this summer then we can also ask where are they now ? Because they are not at Swansea. The Swans recruitment model is clearly defined, and for anyone with an eye for the strategy and precise way of recruiting combined with very thorough due diligence on the player himself. Things like connections, close relationships, family and potential vices, gambling, money etc are all investigated to ensure the right player is coming to Swansea. ![]() We are still wondering where all these players are as the next block of games approaches. There are loads more, just put their name into a news search, fill your boots. These reports contain names of players not dissimilar to Abu Kamara, he is a great example of how the so called mainstream press let you run away with false news and hope. Some just come to the Indy. ⚽️ Case one, 7th Aug 2025 : Jusef Erabi ⚽️ Case two, 5th Aug 2025 : McBurnie and Kone despatched ⚽️ Case three, 29th June 2025 : Gabi Kanichowsky on his way to Swansea ?
