The experienced Tremmel signed under Brendan Rodgers in 2011, but featured just 3 times (once in the League). The German got his chance to start regularly under Michael Laudrup, after an injury to Michel Vorm at Man City; itâ€™s fair to say he took it well.
He was the only player to play in every minute of the League Cup winning run, keeping 4 clean sheets in the 6 games, including 2 against Chelsea. He had one of the best saves to shots ratio in the Premier League last season.
