Hasn't Hill already mentioned about needing a Cavanagh-type midfielder who protects the defence better than what we had last season? We need somewhere there who reads the danger almost before it even happens. Fox has that in his game; would definitely see it as an option. |  |

Agreed. Lund's impact during the promotion season was massive. Dawson did well for us but the reaction to his departure indicates that while we were a bit disappointed, our fortunes next time around don't depend on having him in the side. | |

A fully fit Matty Lund is maybe the best player we have at the club, i like him a lot. If he gets fit and produces the same sort of consistency BBM has shown over the last three years we are on to a winner. |  | | |

Matt Lund, during the promotion season, was absolutely brilliant. Looked the complete midfielder at this level and I said at the time he should have walked the Player of the Season award and also that he was twice the player Gary Jones was in terms of ability.
Last season he suffered with injury and if he can put that behind him then I cannot wait for him to be in our midfield because next to Jamie Allen, we'll forget who Dawson is. I pretty much already have. |  |

Both have the ability to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. We need the ability to win back the ball in midfield because neither Lund or Allen and tailored to do that. | |
