We have 87 days for people to get their £50 deposits in to determine the price of the 2017/18 Season Tickets.
Average amount of daily sales required by 21st June to hit the targets:
2000 (£250): 23
2500 (£200): 29
3000 (£150): 35
4000 (£110): 46
Keeping a track of this really helped ramp up the interest when Hartlepool fans did it, so hopefully it'll have a similar effect. Debate the numbers here over the next week, then we can add the figures once sales commence. |  |

I think you need to factor in the possibility that people have been paying for bury and Oldham away in recent weeks and are perhaps waiting for their next pay day before putting down a deposit. |

If ~1850 got a ST+ 1/2 ST this season and the price is capped at £250 next, you would think all 1850 would be back? The price/game won't be much more in the worst case (£250 for 23 games vs £100 for 11) and threatens to be considerably cheaper than the 1/2 ST offer.
Tbf, I also remember a few posters also saying they wanted to change seats so will wait past the deadline.
It's still probably less than a 50% take-up so far if you factor in the "new" deposits from first-timers. |  |

Anyone wanting to change their existing ST seat shouldn't wait past the deadline, since they'd risk someone nabbing their new preference. I don't think there's anything to stop existing ST holders stating a new seat preference BEFORE the deadline?

Exactly what you said in your edit and no, I'm guessing it won't be many. Although as of now, with maybe 900 of the current ST + 1/2 ST holders not renewing yet, a lot of current ST seats will potentially still be in play for those hoping to move. Also, for those intending to buy for the first time, they may be hoping for a better placed seat than what is on offer now pre-deadline?
I'm convinced that the cashflow argument is the one most affecting sales though and it's good to break the thousand barrier. | |

Nobody has to. Although it's a far-fetched scenario, it's another example of how targets can be achieved with people buying into the scheme in different ways - also see those buying extra Junior Dale ST in this thread.
With the price now guaranteed at £250 the £50 gamble is certainly less of one. The £10 u11 ST isn't a gamble at all as kids get scarves etc as well as a ST. | |

Existing Season Ticket holders have until April 30th to secure their current seat for the 2017/18 campaign.
After this date, all reservations will be lifted and seats will go on open sale.
Supporters are reminded that they do not have to make the trip to the Crown Oil Arena to purchase a Season Ticket Deposit. They can be bought online at www.rafctickets.co.uk.
In addition to the club’s normal opening hours, the Ticket Office will be open from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 29th April and we urge supporters to make the most of this extra opportunity to pay their £50 Season Ticket Deposits in order to avoid matchday queues.
On Sunday 30th April when Dale face Bradford City at the Crown Oil Arena, Ticket Office staff will process Season Ticket from 9am up until kick-off (midday) and after the game (until 3pm). Please note, there will be no telesales on Sunday 30th April.

Yep. All about the crowds, that's why it was noted about that particular scenario being a bit far-fetched. However, it's things *like* that which will increase crowds if people buy extra deposits to push the total up and make others think about jumping on board themselves; it's how the whole concept should work to get to 4000.
We've seen people buy tickets for the local community, directors getting them, car companies offering them as part of their deals, people buying Junior Dale ST for kids who they might never have got them for before, basically allsorts pushing the total up. And that's why every fan who can afford the £50, should get involved as soon as possible, because when they do newer potential fans may consider getting a ST themselves as they see what's going on.
