There's a very interesting article in today's " Guardian " regarding the new Spurs stadium and future developments.
It's got it's own micro brewery, fromagerie, and a Michelin standard restaurant plus the longest bar in the country.
They'll have heated seats with built in USB ports. Tickets for premium seats will start at a mere £89.
One thing I like about the stadium of the future. Apparently drones will bring you a beer to your seat ! They'll have to change the rules regarding alcohol at football matches first. |  | | |  |

There will be an extra 25,000 seats at the new White Hart Lane compared to the old one. Whilst that article focuses on the corporate side of things and the more expensive options, the prices are unlikely to increase too much for the normal fan (Spurs won't want the embarrassment of empty seats at the new ground which is a very real possibility) and there will be an extra few thousand able to get their hands on season tickets etc.
I loved White Hart Lane for the history and the atmosphere and it seems as though the club are desperate to keep fans happy on that side of things where possible, having spoken about the new 'Kop' style Park Lane end, having the stands as close to the pitch as possible and keeping the stadium in the same area. It'll be the same train stops, the same pubs on the high road, the same experience on the day.
It won't be the same White Hart Lane, but it'll be special in it's own way and I can't wait for my first trip down to watch Spurs there. In the meantime a couple of trips to Wembley won't hurt this year, especially if we draw Real Madrid or someone in the CL! Or even better, Dale in the FA Cup. |  |
