Bulls are a shadow of their former teams but well done 'Nets for the victory......what sort of attendance was it..........was Our Ticket Office open? Thought not.

1,230. I didn't go myself as I've not been well lately. I'm not a fan of Summer rugby, just too many other things to do an a lovely day like yesterday.

Ticket office was open on Saturday. Are the staff not allowed some time off?

Yes they are, but at the height of a season ticket drive this could be staggered to provide opportunity to get more money out of peoples pockets.

Yes it was an opportunity missed.

TBH the Hornets could do with looking at how Dale are improving their crowds first.

I get the fact the ticket office could have been open, but personally I don’t see any problem with the ticket office not being open.

Well said that man!

A captive audience of 1000 or so(?) milling around San Spotty .....surely an odd sale or so would have been possible?

I doubt it.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

About a 1000 or so captive audience. I bet more than half of that crowd were Bradford fans, so like TVOS says, I doubt it.

I'm sure Hornets would be grateful for any practical advice as to how to improve attendances. Both clubs face the same problems - Top level clubs playing only a short car journey away, unhelpful demographics, aging fan base etc. I seems that no matter how well each team is playing attracting new fans is like pulling hen's teeth.

I would have like to have seen some sort of joint initiative such as 50% off at the turnstile on production of a season ticket for the other code, or half price/free entry vouchers in the back of both Hornets and Dale season ticket books for the other code.
