Hopefully if Rooney has his usual big tournament failure for England, he will be ditched for the future, as we need to move forward. However really hope he plays at his best and influences England to do very well. |  |

Rooneys a match winner no matter how much some folk don't like that. To be honest when he was younger and visiting that old woman for a bit of 'how's you father', I though he was in danger of wrecking his career and I couldn't do with the guy. Fast forward and I think he's done himself proud, kept his nose clean and fulfilled his promise, he's grown up a lot. He's earned my respect for that.
Lallana doesn't do it for me and he was at his best when he played for Southampton, he frustrates me a lot, and don't get me started on Henderson!! |  | | |

Roy is obviously also struggling but determined to play him hence his place in midfield tonight. He's done OK so far tonight but that midfield would worry me against a better side, not much strength in there and very attacking minded (it's basically 5 forwards haha) | |

A senseless decision to substitute Rooney - our captain, most experienced player and having a very good game. I've been a critic in the past but he's found a role where he can influence a game and still get on the end of chances - unlucky not to score.
We were dominant until that point, then lost our way and after such a positive performance.
Dier - he's only 22, and quite possibly the next England captain. His inclusion is just about the only thing that Brierls and I will ever agree on, but impressive both in defence and attack; also a very mature post-match interview.
I think we'll beat Wales. We'd better bloody do!

Totally agree,Hart may as well have been standing in the crowd the way he did absolutely nothing to prevent the goal. Ok,it was a well directed header,but with only a few seconds left,he could`ve come out and punched the ball away,or at least tried to save it,instead relying on one of the defenders to clear it. We didn't lose our way - Wilshere did some good stuff when he came on. Russia scored with their only real attempt at goal after Rooney went off.
That goal should have meant they lost 4-1 or 5-1 we had been that dominant. Kane had an off day - Wales beware!

Watching with dezzy, we both thought Rooney had a good game but looked tired after doing the Gerrard/Lampard role.
Despite the last minute equilizer, i'm happy.
7 games to win this thing, last 4 are knock-outs.
Only Cahill booked, no injuries AND we were the far better team.
Russia will go out to someone else, hopefully The Ukraine. They are very average indeed.
