Swans Face Competition For Liverpool Winger Friday, 8th May 2009 18:59 Swansea seem set to do battle again with Nottingham Forest for Liverpool winger Paul Anderson The battle marks a repeat of last summer when Roberto wanted to bring Anderson back to the Liberty but he chose to be close to family and signed for Forest instead. But compared to his year at Swansea, the year at Forest was nowhere near as successful which could bode well for the Swans in the chase this season - that appears to be over a permanent move rather than a temporary one. Forest boss Billy Davies is keen to make the move from Anfield a permanent one as he looks to tie up deals with up to four loan players he had last season and he told BBC Radio Nottingham "We'll start conversations with their clubs "We'll see what the prices are, what the future holds for them and if they fit into our plans." The Swans though are also reported to be at the head of the queue and based on progress during his time here it is also reported that Anderson is preferring a move to South Wales rather than staying closer to the family home in Melton Mowbray. Take two on the tug of war for Anderson begins. Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
