Same old Crawley gifts his wicket away really annoying as this is as lightweight an Aussie bowling line up as I can remember |
For perfect illustrations of gifting one's wicket away, may I suggest that we look at some of Brook's recent exhibits. Today's being another case in point. Way worse than Crawley's.
Watching Brook's bat has me wondering whether all is well. He's batting so erratically and could have got himself out on a few other occasions prior to his actual dismissal in today's innings, by playing in such a carefree manner.
He's a much better player than the one that's currently on show.

TNT and commentators making such a fuss over the pink ball and how we are in trouble, we seem ok, 206-4 , root and stoke settled and so far no dramas , last session and much to play for. 52 overs, an out of shape ball Aussies want changed but umps have not, yet.

Looks like he's going to rebuild the reputation of the Surrey contingent.
Pleased for Zak but he will still have his critics. Would have been good to see him and Root both push on for centuries, instead Root is looking very precarious for support. A big monkey off his back if he scores a ton which looks hopeful.
Having watched the 6 wickets - Some stupid giveaways BUT if we can score 300 I am hopeful and even more so if the can see this session out with minimal damage

It started a few years ago but is getting worse.
They need it drummed in to them, this is test match cricket, you have all the time in the world to pick and play your shots. | | | |
